Tis the season!

OOooohhh Look I made a 2nd post.   It is about the time for the holiday season.  I have all my shopping done, and just have to pay off the layaway.  It's most wonderful.

I am doing both Thanksgiving and Christmas at my house this year.  I'm not sure what lunacy prompted me to do this, but I am looking forward to it.

Much has happened since my last month of posting.  My contractor has finished my house and he has done a most excellent job, finally there is not longer a door right where my dining room is.  Makes it so much easier to have a dining room.  Now in about two weeks time I have to finish painting my kitchen/dining area before Dan's family comes for Thanksgiving on the 20th.

So, the mid-term elections happened this week, and surprise, republicans won all around.  Now I am not a republican or a democrat, personally I think the whole party system is royally messed up.  I mean... when Obama was elected there were people who said, "I will everything in my power to see him fail" simply because he is a democrat.  The country is in the worse possible state it can be in, and everyone is doing what they think is right.  It's literally going to hell in a hand basket.  and 90% of the problems could be fixed if so many people of the house and the senate did not do the whole, "Well I'm not going to vote for that because the democats/republicans brought that bill"  So then Wednesday when democrats got slapped in the face, he was all "we must work together for compromise"  Yeah... where was that crap 6 months ago.  So don't even get me started on Obama care.   Making people get health care does not lower health premiums or the cost of prescriptions.  Krikey if anything it's been raising premiums left and right.

And Obama didn't do all that well either when he said he could pass health care without a single republican vote.  I mean, I think they were more worried about a super majority then they were about domestic policy.  And now that everyone and their brother is threatening filibusters nothing can get passed.  You know before the 90's there was hardly any filibusters, and now every bill is getting filibustered.  It's ridonculous.

Anyways, now off my political soap box...

Halloween was a lot of fun, had a blast with my brother in law and sister in law.  Had a great time this last weekend, as well because I got to see my other brother in law and sister in law.

So I'm a little out of things to say. Gonna try to post on here more often.  See yas!
